#43 – How to be a successful food photographer without having a photography business with Becky Hadeed

My food lens podcast episode with becky hadeed

Not everyone wants to be a professional food photographer – some out of choice and some out of limitations. We can be terrific photographers even if it is not our full-time job and also use our photography for other opportunities, something we may not have considered.

In this episode, Becky Hadeed, podcaster, food photographer and former wedding photographer, takes us on a journey of passion, starting from the first bowl of soup she ever photographed, to being a wedding photographer to going back a full circle to that bowl of soup, into food photography.

Becky shares stories of food and culture through her podcast,    The Storied Recipe. With over 100 global recipes created through the guests she’s interviewed, Becky uses food photography to leverage her podcast. She made a conscious decision to not pursue photography professionally and shares all about it in this episode.
